Winter in Norway

My christmas vacation so far has been amazingly white and extremely cold. I've gotten to go skiing a lot, but currently it's almost too cold to go outside. I'm hoping for warmer weather in Cambodia, Vietnam and the Philippines in February!

Here's the plan:
- Leaving Oslo for Seoul on Feb. 2nd
- Leaving for Siem Reap on the 5th
- Traveling Cambodia and Vietnam until the 16th, then leaving for Manila
- Leaving for Cebu on the 18th
- Back to Seoul on the 26th

If anyone has any tips for things to do/things to bring/places to go I would be very thankful!

Scandinavia meets North Korea!

One the same day as a North and South Korean naval boats opened fire on eachother for the first time in seven years, I hung out with a group of adorable North Korean refugee kids, who visited Seoul National University. When they realized that I don't understand much Korean, they tried to communicate using body language and talking very slowly. Very different from the South Korean ajuma-way of communicating (talking louder and faster and in a more aggressive style). Also, the CEO of the huge Korean company SK was there.
